2 Epic Resort Booking at Booking.com!!!

Table of Contents

My story began with epic resort booking at Booking.com! When we decide to travel, our main concern arises about Choosing accommodation that includes good surroundings, prioritising comfort with suitable cost, views, and facilities when selecting hotels or resorts, which ensure a balance between quality and affordability. So we were..!!!

We booked some resorts from Booking.com. We were so excited when we arrived at Phi Phi island because we booked a wonderful resort with amazing nature Named “The Cobble Beach”.

We saw their demo picture and viewed some positive reviews of that resort. So we were waiting at the pear, and after sometime found their staff who guided us to reach there. Booking.com showed a 5 minute walking distance from pear. But we found a 30 minute walking distance from the pear. So excitement became frustrations. Because with a baby it would be hard for us up down from there to the main area.

And we found that they don’t have lunch and dinner options. Only have a buffet breakfast. But the view from the resort was amazing, which is a perfect place for couples. But holding a baby or having old age people  it’s difficult to manage as you have to come out several time to explore.

So we decided to cancel the booking and for that Booking.com charged for two nights but we stayed there for one night only!!.

Another story began when we went to Phuket and arrived at the premises of “Anona Beachfront Phuket Resort”. And found that we had booked for 30 December 2024 to 2 January 2025 by mistake. Which was after 1 year!!!! And That time was pick season, all hotels and resorts got booked already. Hardly we found 1 place to stay in another hotel which was far away from Patong beach. With a baby this was a bad experience based on our silly mistake.

So I suggest you, before booking any resort and hotel, must get enough information rather than rely on only Booking.com or other booking sites. Sometimes these sites do not provide exact information. Like the Cobble beach 5 minutes walking distance when sea tide is not high, other times you can not go from that route.

And Obviously recheck the date and time before booking anything.
